Short bio
Jennifer Pérez received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), in 2006.
She has been an Associate Professor with the E. T. S. Ingeniería de Sistemas Informáticos, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), since 2007. Since 2001, she has also been participating in European and national projects related to Software Engineering and ICT on Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).
Her research interests include systems of systems, (SoS) software architectures, software product lines, model-driven development, software evolution, agile methodologies, software innovation, and aspect-oriented software. Since 2007, she has also been a member of the Systems and Software Technology (SYST) Research Group, UPM. She was a recipient of the Best Thesis Award in Computer Science and Telecommunications of the UPV from 2006 to 2007.
She has published her research results in more than 40 publications in journals, book chapters, and conferences with impact in rankings. She is referee of several well-known journals with impact, has been involved in more than 40 program committees, she has been a Co-Chair and an Organizing Committee of several workshops and conferences. In addition, she was the General Chair of the European Conference on Software Architectures (ECSA) 2018 and the Spanish Software Engineering Conference (JISBD) 2019.
